Group Training

Movies, media, celebrities  – there’s a lot of misinformation around what’s considered OK behaviour, as well as how we should treat our own, and other peoples’ bodies and personal boundaries.

Our goal is to give people the knowledge, confidence, and skills to help keep themselves, and others, safe.

Group consent training workshops are fun, engaging, and always developmentally appropriate. Workshops can be held as a one-off session, or as part of an 8-week curriculum over the school term. Our consent and respectful relationships workshops can also be custom-designed to fit the needs of your group of young people.

We work with groups in mainstream and disability settings, and adapt our consent training workshops to suit a range of learning and developmental needs.

Our content is built on the latest evidence and advice.

Sessions can be designed to focus on a specific topic, or cover a broad range of topics including:

  • Informed consent training

  • Sex education

  • Pornography education

  • Body safety

  • eSafety

  • Respectful relationships

  • Sex and dating for LGBTIQ+ teens

  • Social and emotional wellbeing (mindfulness, emotional regulation)

  • Student leadership + Student Representative Council (SRC) training and development.

How many people can attend a group workshop?

For in-person group workshops, we recommend sizes of 6 – 25 people however, we can be flexible depending on the size of your class or group. We can also hold online workshops for groups up to 25 people.

Our students went away from the workshop with so many new ideas on how they could support one another and promote the changes they wanted to see in their own lives and in that of the broader University of Sydney community. It was clear that the workshop has significantly enhanced their knowledge and understanding of consent.
